Following a traditional and eco-friendly mode of classroom learning, the School Under the Tree model has been running successfully for seven years, and has become an integral part of the lives of the members and children of the community.
Two such schools are currently running in Gurgaon, with over 300 children. While providing education to first generation students, these schools also promote community participation and encourage volunteerism from all sections of society, allowing there to be holistic and widespread learning.
