Awareness about Air pollution in South city 2
In our capital city Delhi and NCR, the Air quality went down to unacceptable level in November 2017.
Air pollution kills an estimated 1.5 million people in India, the quality of Air is so poor that it irreversibly damages the lungs of 50 per cent of all children.
In November 2017,' THE GREAT SMOG' of Delhi(and NCR ), the Air pollution spiked much above the acceptable levels of PM (particulate matter)2.5 and PM 10, hit 999 mcg per cubic meter, while safe limits are 60 and 100 respectively.
Sudha Society organized an Awareness program on 10/11/2017 in south city 2 Gurugram , educating people about the harmful effects of pollution on our Earth. It also discussed about the precautions which can be taken to minimize the effects of pollution. Janitors and Security Guards of South City 2, Gurgaon 122018 were advised to wear pollution masks which were distributed by Sudha Society .They were advised to wear the masks outdoors and drink lots of water.
Sudha Society volunteers Shri. Amitabh Khare ( Joint General Manager -Rights Ltd), Shri. Mukesh Saneja (Software Engineer) and Shri.G.K.Bhatnagar, president of Sudha Society ) actively participated in this awareness camp.

Timely action taken by Sudha Society to breath easier was much appreciated by the community . Other RWA societies of Gurugram also replicated this action in their areas after reading this news in the various Newspaper of Gurugram.
