Children Day Celebration
SUDHA Society Celebrated the Children Day at South City 2 on 13th November 2017
Children’s Day is celebrated on 14th November, the birthday our first Prime Minister Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru.
Although every day is for children, this special day marks the celebration of our young generation. We must nurture and encourage them to ensure a better future for our world.
Sudha society (Regd) celebrated Children ‘s Day on the evening of 13th November 2017. Chief guest Major General G. D.. Bakshi ( Retd) graced the occasion by his presence and blessings to all the children of Sudha Open School and Suyash Foundation who performed in front of large audience (residents).
The inauguration was done by a beautiful and melodious Ganesh .Mrs. Taposhi Banerjee W/o Lt. Gen. Gautam Banerjeewas Guest of Honour. Other special guests who were present at the event are :

3. Ms. Sonika Mishra-Founder of Nirmalan Foundation

All the guests were honored by Shri. G. K. Bhatnagar, president of Sudha Society, with Ms. Deepti Goyal and Ms. Sanjoli Jha, who are volunteers of Sudha Society. They anchored the program as well.
Certificate of appreciation was given to the volunteer teachers of Sudha Society, who, in spite of their busy schedules, find time to spend with underprivileged children. These dedicated teachers are:

Suyash Foundation and Nirmalam Foundation also help underprivileged children with education.
Certificate of appreciation was also given to our young resident students, who are doing such noble work by teaching underprivileged children at such young age, by our chief guests Maj. Gen. G. D. Bakshi and Mrs. Taposhi Banerjee. These bright and young students are:

General Bakshi appreciated Sudha Society’s role in helping the underprivileged childrenwith education and in many other ways. His motivating speech will definitely encourage volunteers to teach and help the underprivileged selflessly.
Shri. Pramod Kumar, treasurer and Mrs. Shashikiran Bhatnagar, member Sudha Society also attended the program. A stall was put up by children of A1 residents, where jute products made by rural women to promote environment friendly products were kept for sale.
Overall the program was very enjoyable with children of open school performing enthusiastically in front of large audience.
A well organized Children’s Day indeed!
