World Health Day- 7th April
In observation of the World Health Day, we organized a free health check-up camp for thirty students of SUDHA open school, their parents and residents of South City-2.
The health check-ups were conducted by Dr N J Kar, former CMO in-charge of CGHS (Central Government Health Services) and Dr Deepka Kaushik, family physician and cosmetologist with 25 years of experience. The costs of prescribed medicines were taken care of by SUDHA society.
Dr Kar and Dr Kaushik appealed to all health camp participants to adopt yoga and meditation in their routine for a healthy mind and body. In addition, they advised everyone to adopt healthy eating habits and consume lots of water in summers.
