International Yoga Day 21st June

International Yoga Day is celebrated on 21st June since its inception in 2015 by the United Nations General Assembly. Hiranyagarbha is said to be the traditional founder of Yoga Darshana or the Yoga system of philosophy.

Patanjali Yoga Darshana is a later subset of the earlier Hiranyagarbha Yoga Darshana.The art of practicing yoga helps in controlling an individual’s mind,soul and body. It achieves a peaceful body and mind by physical and mental disciplines. Yoga helps us to cope with modern day stress too.International Yoga Day was celebrated on 20th June 2018, at A1 block, South City 2, Gurugram by Sudha Society with association of Art of Living, RWA South City 2 and Explore NCR .
 
Many residents gathered to attend the event with full enthusiasm. Shri. S. N. Bhardwaj, President Of RWA, South City 2 was the chief guest and Ms. Gita Srinivasa, Head Of Ryan International School, sector 31 was the guest of honor.Shri. Anil Hanslas, the well known singer was a special guest. all Guests  distributed certificate of appreciation to 31 residents. Yoga teachers Ms. Sweta Kohli, Ms. Kiran Sharma and Ms. Parul Pramodji conducted the yoga sessions. The program was concluded by a song by Ms. Kiran Sharma’s beautiful voice ( Hum ko Mann ki Shakti Dena).A huge number of yoga lovers joined the program.
 

The main message by Sudha Society is that all of us should pursue yoga for our physical, mental and spiritual growth.
