Road Safety Day was observed- 13 Jan 2018
Road Safety refers to the method and measures used to prevent road users from being killed or seriously injured. Typical road users include: Pedestrians, Cyclists,Motorists, Vehicle passengers, horse riders and passengers of on road public transport ( mainly buses and trains).
Safety can be improved in various simple ways to reduce the chance of an accident occurring. Avoiding rushing and standing in unsafe places on the bus or coach and following the rules itself will increase the road safety.
Sudha SOCIETY celebrated Road Safety Day with RWA South City 2, Rudset Institute, Art of Living, Vishwa Bhartiya Sanskar Trust, Road Riders(Arcadia) and Rockers Educare at A1 block South city 2 Gurugram
The chief guest of the function was Shri. Deepak Gahlawat IPS,(DCP), Gurugram.
Several other eminent personalities like Shri. Jagjit Singh( IRSS),Former Director Ministry of Railways, Shri. Pradeep Tyagi RWA south city 2 , Shri. Om Prakash Gupta ( Director Rudset, Gurugram), Shri. Naresh Aggarwal ( Faculty of Art of Living), Shri. Sanjay Tuli( Road Riders Arcadia) and Mr. Ajay Goel( Advisor) Sh. Rajesh Prajapati from Viswa Bhartiya Sanskar Trust,sh. G k bhatnagar sudha society participated enthusiastically.
More than 150 participants, including children, adults and senior citizens were part of various activities like
1. Slogan Competition
2.Nukkad Natak
3.Mimicary were to name a few.
A bicycle ( Hero Sprint)was presented by Sudha Society with the help of Road Riders, Arcadia.
Talk about Road Safety measures was done with display of placards. Several volunteers of Sudha Society took part in a small walk for Road Safety.
Our efforts were much appreciated by everyone present at the event and it was very evident by the thunderous applauding.
