In an attempt to inspire all the SUDHA Open School students to fight all odds of life with bravery, a special screening of the Movie Super 30 was organised for them on August 12, 2019, Monday. Super 30 was selected because it has a strong message, to encourage and overcome the hurdle to achieve their goal. Around 20 students attended the special screening of Hrithik Roshan starrer Super 30, directed by Vikas Bahl, having tagline 'Ab Raja Ka Beta Raja Nahin Banega.. Ab Raja Wahi Banega Jo Haqdaar Hoga.'
The movie, based on the life of award-winning mathematician Anand Kumar and his educational programme, released on July 12, 2019. It also stars Mrunal Thakur, Nandish Sandhu and Pankaj Tripathi. In the movie, Hrithik Roshan plays the role of Patna-based mathematician Anand Kumar. He rises to fame for training underprivileged children for the IIT entrance examinations. The film has been declared tax free in Bihar, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Maharashtra and Jammu and Kashmir.
By showing this movie to the students, aim was to encourage the under privileged children and make them aware about to how to cope with difficult situations in life.
It was truly a memorable experience for many of these children who have never visited a cinema hall in the past and were enthralled with this initiative undertaken by SUDHA Society. The screening was followed an engaging discussion around the movie.
