WORLD BOOK DAY, 2019
There is more treasure in books than in all the pirate’s loot on Treasure Island. With this resolve, SUDHA Society today celebrated World Book Day on April 23, 2019, wherein, more than 400 books on different topics and school syllabus were distributed to needy children.
Most of the books were collected by the SUDHA Samaj from the residents of Sispal Vihar and South City 2, Gurugram, which were then distributed among the slums of South City 2, Fazilpur village and Tikri village. The excitement of children receiving their favourite books could be seen in their smiles, altogether, 150 children were benefited from the book distribution.
This important event was organised by Mrs. Deepti Goyal and Mrs. Neelima Thomas. It was concluded with tremendous public support with the participation and tireless support of Sangeeta Gupta, Shri Aman Nath Jha, Shri Anil Dutta and Shri GK Bhatnagar, President of SUDHA Society.
