Hand Washing Day


Sudha Society Foundation Gurugram celebrated Global Hand Washing Day on 15 October 2020 with the underprivileged children in three different locations of Gurugram to create awareness about the importance of clean hands for good hygiene and to protect self from COVID 19.

Activity 1.
Mrs.Ruchi Saxena ED Child Development Sudha Society Foundation help children know the importance of hand washing through enactment of a play.
 
She demonstrated the importance of 20 Seconds of rubbing hands with soap, which the children practiced too. All the children were given free soaps for the same.
 
Activity 2.
Global Hand washing day was celebrated on 15th October 2020 with underprivileged children of village Tikri.Kids prepared posters related to Hand washing and society honoured such students with Stationary etc.The following from Sudha Society attended the awareness camp 1. Mr.G.K. Mrs.Shashi Sharma, Volunteer 12. Miss Shreya Parashar, Student Volunteer 
 
201 Soaps and Towels were Distributed  to needy students / maids / car cleaners. Volunteers taught them how to wash hands daily for 20 seconds . 
 
In Poster Making Competition at Tikri Village the winners were declared on the spot

Activity 3.
Mrs.Anu Sahdev ED Nutrition Sudha Society Foundation celebrated Global Hand Washing Day with the underprivileged children near Malibu Town Gurugram
 
She taught the concept of hygiene via a play enacted by the children. She displayed how hands have to be washed using 20 second rule. Children were given free soaps to be used to wash their hands and keep them clean before meals.
