71st republic day celebration -26th January ,2020
Republic Day is the day when India adopted its constitution. It was on 26 January 1950 that the Government of India adopted the constitution and since then 26 January is celebrated as the Republic day of India. it holds a special place in the lives of all the citizens of the country and is also a national holiday for all. But what transpired before the adoption of the constitution and what it holds for us is what the children should understand.
To get familiar with this topic of national importance ,Sudha society ,A1 block ,south City -2,Gurugram organised republic day celebration for the open school children with Mr.Rajendra Singh Goyal Zfyra OY Finland ,Director Sales as the chief guest for the event .
The children sang the national anthem with full enthusiasm ,Mr.GK Bhatnagar,President of sudha society also expressed his views pointing out that the children are the future builders of the nation,they are creators and shapers of nation's tomorrow,It is therefore mandatory for every nation and every society to nurture a strong ,healthy and intellectual youth ,thus motivating them to perform well in every phase of life .
India is a land of endless freedom fighters,and to create awareness among Children,they were made familiar with the sacrifices and the works done by the freedom fighters and activists for the nation's independence .
Indian culture and traditions are something which has now become renowned all across the world. We all refer to India and its culture as something very diverse and unique and to reflect this the children performed some cultural programmes displaying the culture and traditions of the country .
The society members were really happy to see the hidden talents of these children .
Mrs.Daisy Singh ,a singer by profession also gave her contribution by singing a patriotic song ,elevating the feelings of love for the country .
The chief guest ,Mr.Rajendra singh presented prizes and plants to the volunteers n children and appreciated the efforts done by sudha society for working towards making a bright future for these children ,arrangement of refreshments were also done by the society.
Let us pledge on this republic day for Preventing child labour and ensuring development in the country,as quoted by our very own ,The father of the nation -Mahatama Gandhi -“You must be the change you want to see in the World”.
