Keeping the surroundings clean is necessary to live a healthy life ,and also helps in staying away from diseases .
Moreover scientifically it has been proven that people living in dirty areas catch diseases easily, so there is a great need to create awareness among all the sections of society regarding the benefits of cleanliness.
To throw more light onto this topic sudha society along with the association of National youth social workers, organised a workshop on cleanliness on 12th Feb,2020 at A1-block ,south City 2,Gurugram for open school children with Dr.Geetanjli Dua, Life Skill expert as the chief guest for the event ,she addressed the children and explained them the benefits of clean environment , emphasizing on the fact that
Keeping our surroundings clean ensures that future generations have the opportunity to enjoy nature the same way we do today.
Mr. Ashish Dua CEO, Gap Infotech also attended the workshop and appreciated the efforts done by society to educate children on this topic .
There were some students from Amity university, namely Miss Garima,Miss jyotasana and Mr.James, who also took part in explaining the adverse effects of scavanging and how it is banned in India.
A large number of enthusiastic volunteers of sudha society also attended the workshop along with Mr .Naveen and his team from National youth social workers ,who also played an active role in addressing the children .
To sum up the ceremony ,Mr.GK Bhatnagar ,president of sudha society proposed a vote of thanks to all the speakers and the audiences .
Parents and teachers must encourage this habit of cleanliness from early on kids.Similar to the basic essentials of life like food, water, shelter, cleanliness also holds great significance in life. It is, in fact, one of the most important things for healthy living. Cleanliness helps us stay refreshed and hygienic on a personal level.
At last we should remember that "Cleanliness is next to Godliness".
