Netaji Birth Anniversary
On the occasion of Netaji Subhash Chandra Birth Anniversary Day, Sudha Society Foundation Celebrates the day sponsoring books to poor students of Assam. Gurugram based Sudha Society Foundation has always been pioneering in spreading education in different parts of Haryana and Delhi. Now the Foundation has come forward to help the students of the remote corner of India like North-Eastern states of India like Assam
SUDHA SOCIETY FOUNDATION CELEBRATES NETAJI SUBHASH CHANDRA BOSE'S BIRTH ANNIVERSARY
To spread moral education amongst the students, Sudha Society Foundation had on 23rd January, Saturday, 2021 distributed books on moral education amongst the students of the different age group in a school located at far off area of Dispur, Guwahati. Around hundreds of copies of books were distributed amongst the students of Tepuram Teran Government High School, where most of the students are hailing from the poor economic background.
The moral storybook, written by Pranab Saikia- 'Stories from The Scripture' published by Gokul Printer New Delhi, was distributed free of cost to all the students of the school.
Coordinating the entire function, The Founder of Hiranmoyee India Foundation Pranab Saikia said, "We would like to convey our sincere gratitude to GK Bhatnagar founder and Chairman of Sudha SocietyFoundation for coming forward to distribute the books to students of this Government school on this auspicious day of Netaji's Birthday. The condition of the school is in a dilapidated state and school has not been receiving any grants and aids from the Government. There are no provisions for extra curriculum activities. When we approached GK Bhatnagar to donate some storybooks so that students can read them in off time, he immediately sponsored them. We are very thankful to Bhatnagar Ji for coming forward to help these students.”
“ We are very happy to help these students with books who are haling from a backward state like Assam. Let these students enlightened with moral education and become a good citizen of the country,” said GK Bhatnagar, Chairman of Sudha Society.
" We are happy to help the students of remote part of India. Over the years Sudha Society has been doing social services with dedication for the poor and marginal class of the society. We are very happy to help these students," Said Dr. Kirti Bajpai, President Sudha Society.
It is to be noted that Sudha Society Foundation has been running schools for underprivileged students from last several years in South City-2 Gurugram. Society has been helping underprivileged people in various ways.
“Since in today’s school curriculum, moral education is no more part of the syllabus and we are very thankful to GK Bhatnagar and Pranab Saikia for coming forward to help the students with boos on moral education. It will inculcate moral education through stories from the Indian scriptures,” said Debajit Dutta, Headmaster of Tepuram Teran Government High School. All the students were very happy to receive the books and they highly appreciated the efforts of GK Bhatnagar for coming forward to help them from a far off place like Gurugram.
Dr RK Arya CEO of Sudha Society said, " Students of far off North Easter states very brilliant but they are not getting proper amenities and advantages. Give them good opportunity they will also prosper in life like students of rest of India. We will help them in future also"
