Sudha Society Foundation, Gurugram on the occasion of Earth Day. A program was organized involving residents of A1 block and Sispal vihar south city 2 , Gurugram regarding the conservation and improvement of mother earth. The President of the Society, Ms. Ruchi Saxena, said that in our religious scriptures, we have been taught to pray for forgiveness from Mother Earth first.
From Mother Earth, we get food, fruits, flowers, trees, plants, minerals and many useful things of life. That's why it shouldn't be wasted. Save earth or Save environment both are necessary to save life on Earth. Therefore, it is our responsibility to preserve natural resources. Toxic environment, air, water , soil pollution, global warming, eradication of forests and many other activities affect the health of human life. Great waste is happening during the war between Russia and Ukraine. In the nuclear test, there is a chemical effect on the ocean and the atmosphere.
The chairman of the society, Shri Gopal Krishna Bhatnagar, paid visit from Raipur, said that our earth never takes anything in return from us, however, to maintain the continuity of healthy life on the earth, it definitely demands to maintain it. We are not the only ones living on the earth: there are other living beings as well .
We should protect our earth and environment by reducing the amount of wastes, plastic, paper, etc. We should inculcate the habit of reusing objects (clothes, toys, furniture, books, paper etc.) ; reduce the waste ; and recycle the excess and waste. We should stop the activities that increase the level of pollution and global warming. Therefore, the Sudha Society is trying to make the public aware through KIDS CYCLETHON wherein About 25 children from A1 block and sispal Vihar south City became ambassadors of Sudha and by bicycle in and around their society - took the placards for Save Earth , save Soil , Save Environment , Save Trees and Save all living beings . Sudha online school 12 children gave the message of Earth Day through street play NUKKAD NATAK on this topic .
Sudha's activists Mr. Amitabh Khare, Pooja Bharadwaj, Anjali, dakshata, Minaj Ali , garima , Anil Dutta , Anita , Babita assisted. Shri Neeraj Yadav, Secretary, South City 2 was guest of honor , presented the awards to the children for their exemplary display of art via drawings , poems and slogans on topic of Earth Day . Similar activities were performed in Sudha Society satellite centres at Bhondsi and Basai enclave where more than 200 children participated . Not to forget Beneficiaries attached with Sudha online classes – they also participated in the event across India and pledged to take care of their Mother Earth on this spl day – EARTH DAY !!
